You can also search for an apartment/flat through an agency, choose to stay in a student residence, or rent a room in a shared apartment/flat.
If you wish to rent an apartment/flat on your own, there are some things that you should take into account:
- The usual minimum rental period is 1 year, but some real estate agencies accept short-term rentals
- The cost of the rental contract is generally the same amount as 1-month rental price or 10% of the annual price
- You are usually required to pay a deposit of 2 months, which is returned to you at the end of the rental period if no damage has been caused to the apartment/flat
