European University – The Barcelona MBA

European University Barcelona offers a professional's passport into the business world via practical MBA study options. The program's convenient modular format serves not only recent university graduates but also mid-career professionals with executive experience. The MBA programs at EU Business School Barcelona:

  • provide an industry-specific, market-driven intellectual study of global business processes and trends
  • challenge students to master the tools of entrepreneurship and leadership through exposure to real-world business situations
  • promote critical and creative thinking to hone analysis and problem-solving skills
  • focus on strategies for sustainable corporate development centered on business ethics

An MBA from an internationally accredited institution is one of the most coveted academic qualifications in the world and a launch pad to a successful business career.

Programs are flexible and dynamic and take into consideration the individual needs of students as well as the demands of the rapidly changing global markets. EU Business School Barcelona students receive constant assessment and nurturing in an environment where contact with professors is maximized due to the small size of the classes (20-25 students).

The EU MBA curricula incorporate different fields of business and management, offering the possibility of specialization in a chosen field via the following majors: International Business, Communication & Public Relations, International Marketing, Global Banking & Finance, Leisure & Tourism Management, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, E-Business, Sports Management and Human Resources Management.

Full-time MBA

The full-time MBA program at European University Barcelona is a 1-year program divided into 3 academic terms of 10 weeks each. The first 2 terms cover the core courses that lay the theoretical and practical foundations of the study of business and management while the third term offers a specialization in one of EU's 10 elective majors. This enables participants undertaking internships or those pursuing their careers full- or part-time to attend class without interruption. The program starts in October, January and March.

Part-time MBA

This 2-year program follows the same curriculum as the full-time MBA, but coursework is completed over 6 terms of 10 weeks each, with students attending 2−3 courses per term. Candidates can enroll for EU's part-time MBA in October, January and March.

Dual MBA

This program is offered in collaboration with Nichols College, USA. The Dual MBA presents the opportunity to earn 2 MBA degrees in as little as 1 year: complete 5 MBA courses with European University and a further 10 with Nichols College in the United States on-site or via distance learning. This program starts in October, January and March.

MBA Second Major Option

After completing an MBA program in a given elective major, students have the option to study a further term at the EU Business School Barcelona in a different elective major in order to earn a second MBA, thus obtaining 2 MBA degrees in only 4 academic terms.

An integral part of course requirements, students participate in regular industrial visits to specific national or international companies and also benefit from having guest speakers visit EU business school Barcelona. This visit program contributes to the understanding of the practical aspects of business that European University Barcelona identifies as the “missing link” between classroom theory and the reality of business.
