Visas in Spain
A Student Visa is required only for non-European citizens.Students coming from outside the European Union or with a non-European passport should obtain detailed information about “Visas” in their local Spanish Embassy or Consulate. European University Barcelona provides students with special visa documentation and enrollment certificate and an admission letter that should be handed in to the Spanish Embassy or Consulate. We recommend that students apply early to European University Barcelona (at least 3 months prior to the commencement of classes) since Embassies require that they have the enrollment documents before commencing the visa procedure.
Residence Permits in Spain
Upon arrival in Barcelona, students will receive some forms which they have to fill out in order to register with the local foreign office and obtain an official residence permit for the duration of their studies.
